This gut renovation focused on the first-floor kitchen and dining space.
An inefficient galley kitchen was removed to eliminate a distinction between
the kitchen and dining area. A tall bank of millwork conceals the majority of the
appliances and storage. A long counter of Ceasarstone & custom glass front cabinets
houses the cooktop and sink/DW, with additional storage. Consolidating the kitchen
into these two volumes allowed for an open space while entertaining and for a calm
environment when there is no cooking.
