This project is located on two floors in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The first floor space is a workshop functioning as the bakery and cafe. The conceptual prompt was a flexible space that could function as a bakery and coffee shop, while communicating the idea of the living workshop to the staff and public. We cast customn entry stones to look like weathered antique millstones.
The second floor space features two mills and is the heart of the milling operation supplying flour to restaurants and home chefs throughout the city.
